To my resilient clients,
First off, I would like to thank each and every one of you for being so patient with my practice. Not only have I been missing the practice of massage, I also have been missing our relationship as client and practitioner. Helping you overcome the stress, anxiety, and physical pain that has plagued all of us in the past year has been a continuing source of meaning in my life and I only have you, the clients that allow me to practice the work I believe in, to thank.
It is with great satisfaction and joy that I am announcing the reopening of Vermont Full Body Wellness starting Feb 15, 2021. I have received the first dose of two COVID-19 vaccines thanks to Porter Medical and therefore feel that with all of the safety precautions in place that I can provide, my business can remain open for the foreseeable future. You may start scheduling appointments for February now via email, text, phone, or online through my website.
I continue to take the safety of my clients as my utmost priority. Because of the risk of COVID-19 and it’s various new forms entering our community, I will still be asking clients to wear masks during the entire session. I will also continue to use all of the necessary PPE for my massage table, and will continue to sanitize both the table and my studio thoroughly between every client. I have also invested in a True HEPA filter, which will remain on throughout the entirety of my work day. Of course, there is no way to ensure the total safety of receiving massage, so scheduling and receiving work is still done at your own risk.
The suspension of my cancelation policy is still in effect, meaning that if you wake up the morning of a massage and do not feel 100% well, you are able to cancel your appointment with up to an hour notice (hour and a half notice for Burlington appointments). It is my hope that this allowance will encourage my clients to only come to sessions feeling healthy and ready to receive massage, which is not only important for the safety of my entire practice, but important for your own health. Receiving massage when you are even slightly sick may cause the illness to circulate in your body and lead to a worsening of your condition. So please, if you don’t feel well, utilize this policy and cancel your appointment.
Again, I want to give thanks to all of you who have waited patiently for my reopening. I am excited to continue on this journey of pain mitigation and well-deserved self-care with you all soon.
Warmly,
Lainey Gaetano
